DEAR MSHUMAA CUSTOMERS,

I started this little brand to help people get in touch with their creative side. I wanted my clients to feel as though they had a hand in creating something beautiful from scratch.  Well, after almost six years and thousands of bespoke candles poured, I’m extremely proud of the work we’ve made together and the joy that these micro-collaborations with all of you have sparked.  Mshumaa means “light” in Swahili and I’m thrilled that we got to spread some. 

Effective November 27, 2023, I will be closing the e-commerce branch of the company to focus on my burgeoning art practice as well as private label opportunities.  Thanks so very much for buying our candles.  Your support has meant the world to me and the company.
